Is It Real or Is It Fake? The Dangers of Artificial Intelligence

I was asked to participate in a law school student’s research assignment where he was testing whether people could tell the difference between genuine and fake (i.e., generated by artificial intelligence) photos, videos, written stories, and sound bites.

I would love for you to take the survey, then email me your thoughts. If you do that, I will email you back with mine! I’m not going to drop any hints in this blog post, but I will say that I was surprised by the results, and I’m willing to bet that you will be too.

This takes 15 minutes or less. You can use your smart phone (like I did) or your computer to do it. You need to be able to listen to audio and watch video, so find a place to do it where you can listen to things on your speaker.
